Our Process

After an initial scope visit, we will provide a quote that meets (and often exceeds) the DfE technical specification. You will need to get quotes from multiple suppliers and submit your preferred supplier quote to DfE. Remember it is important to select for best value and not necessarily the cheapest quote. The DfE CtC team are available to ensure quotes meet their standards, but they can't assist with your selection process.

If you select Liverpool IT Services as your Connect the Classroom supplier, we will allocate your order with our distributors and provide a lead time. We're ready to get everything right the first time - we have already completed Connect the Classroom projects in 7 local primary schools.

While we wait for delivery of the equipment, we will arrange dates to run cabling throughout your school in preparation for your devices. This will be scheduled at times that suit you and to minimise disruption. While working with our other CtC clients, we have gained the experience to do this quickly and effectively.

Upon delivery of your equipment, we will install and configure your devices and make sure they are working before handing over to your preferred IT supplier. If you don't have regular IT support, we can also provide you with documentation and support contact details. Otherwise, your normal IT company should be able to take over with the support of these devices.
